Bill Ingram
Bill Ingram has been writing and arranging for handbells since 1975 with about 750 published handbell compositions and arrangements in print with numerous publishers. He is a graduate of East Texas Baptist university, and is retired from First Baptist Church, Baytown, Texas after 27 years of work in the music ministry there. He is currently Handell Editor for Composers Music, Ring Out! Press, Ring Praise Music, and Red River Music. Bill has contributed to the BAPTIST HYMNAL (handbell edition), THE HYMNAL from Word Inc. (handbell edition), the CELEBRATION HYMNAL (from Integrity and Word, handbell edition), RING HIS PRAISE (the Nazarene handbell hymnal), and THE CELEBRATING GRACE HYMNAL (Mercer University). Bill has been twice named “Composer of the Year” by Jeffers Handbell Supply when his arrangements were their best seller for 1996 and 2006. Bill has led numerous workshops and festivals during the last thirty years and continues to direct handbell choirs in the local church.
