Craig Curry
Craig Curry is an established, award-winning composer and arranger, with hundreds of published compositions. His music is frequently performed across the US and internationally. He has garnered numerous ASCAP Plus Awards.
Craig previously held the position of Composer-in-Residence at Friends University in Wichita, Kansas, where he taught music theory, composition, orchestration, jazz arranging, and jazz piano. In 2009, he founded the university’s Jazz Vocal Ensemble, which achieved national acclaim and even opened for renowned groups like Pentatonix and Take 6.
An accomplished pianist, Craig has released numerous collections of his piano arrangements and recordings.
For over two decades, Craig collaborated as a pianist and arranger for gospel vocalist Earnest Alexander, a founder of Youth Horizons, a faith-based ministry dedicated to supporting at-risk youth. Additionally, he has served as a worship pastor and clinician at church music conferences.
Craig holds music degrees from the University of Miami, Florida (M.M., Media Writing and Production), and the Wheaton College-Conservatory of Music (B.M., Piano Performance). In 2024, he celebrated his 30th wedding anniversary with his wife, Amy, and they welcomed their first grandchild. They are proud parents of their adult children, Ella and Coltrane.
