Dave and Jean Perry write songs, musicals and classroom materials for schools and churches. Their music has been performed by choirs in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, North America and Australia. They have over three hundred and fifty songs in print and are recipients of multiple special composers awards from ASCAP.
Jean’s background includes seventeen years as a choral director at a middle school, eight years as a general music teacher/choral director at the elementary school level, children’s church choir director, and community women’s and children’s chorus director.
Dave’s background includes high school choral director for 26 years, director of both church youth choirs and community college choirs. Jean and Dave enjoy guest directing and presenting workshops and interest sessions to fellow choral directors. They are both active members of NafME and ACDA.
They live in Oceanside, California where they continue to travel, write and enjoy their connections with southern California music activities.
