Patrick M. Liebergen
Patrick M. Liebergen (1949-2020) is widely published as a choral editor, arranger, and composer and was the Director of Choral Activities at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, Wisconsin. With music degrees from St. Norbert College in DePere, Wisconsin, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the University of Colorado-Boulder, Dr. Liebergen served in a variety of positions as a leader of school and church music and appeared throughout the United States and Canada as a conductor and clinician during his celebrated career.
Mr. Liebergen wrote articles for the Choral Journal and was the co-author of Monograph No. 4, which was published by the American Choral Directors Association. One of his choral works was featured in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir’s Christmas special, which aired on radio and television stations around the country. Dr. Liebergen is included in the listings of Who’s Who in the Midwest and Who’s Who in Entertainment. His numerous publications, including choral collections, cantatas, vocal solo collections, and numerous masterwork editions and original choral works, have been performed around the world. His work has been performed in Carnegie Hall and other prestigious venues around the world.
