FlexTrax CD: Budget-stretching recording containing 6-8 stereo accompaniment tracks to selected octavos. Instrumentation varies according to each matching octavo. Tracks contained include obbligatos, ensembles, and occasionally full orchestra. InstruTrax CD: Accompaniment track recording for octavos and musicals. (For musicals, there is no narration/drama included on an InstruTrax CD; that is heard on a Listening CD). The InstruTrax CD for any given musical may or may not have both stereo and split tracks on one CD based on the length of the musical (in general, if a musical if 40 minutes in length or more, and a split track is offered for the musical, it is sold separately). Performance Recording: A downloadable MP3 demonstration recording of a single anthem.
PowerPoint Images CD Rom: A data disc in CD rom format containing a PowerPoint file. This file has color images which complement the cantata/musical with which it is intended to be used. The cantata/musical’s choral score includes cues as to when each image is to be projected during the course of the work, complementing the theme of what is being sung while projected.
Preview Pack: Contains a choral book and Listening recording of a musical, cantata, or collection for perusal purposes. (Limit one per church). (Reproducible Children’s Musicals Preview Pack contains a Listening Recording and card insert containing sample pages and complete product details).
Rehearsal Trax: Part-dominant (S/A/T/B) reproducible recordings of a musical/cantata for personal, individual choir member rehearsal. Narration/drama not included.
Sheet: A single piece for organ or piano.
Singer’s Edition 5-Pack: Contains 5 non-reproducible singer’s books for children’s musicals or collections (available for older publications only).
SplitTrax CD: Available only for children’s musicals and certain adult cantatas/musicals. Check the product in question’s website page on this site for availability. On the left channel, the recording contains the accompaniment track; on the right channel, the recording contains choral vocals (no solos). Narration/drama (if present) not included.
String Reduction (or Synthesizer String Reduction): A keyboard score played by one person on synthesizer (using the synth string sound) which basically duplicates the parts scored for strings (violin, viola, cello, bass) in the piece. Useful when string players aren’t possible for a presentation or if the director wishes to augment the string players’ sound when a limited number of strings are present.
VoxTrax: Part-dominant reproducible, downloadable MP3 recordings of anthems and selected cantatas/musicals for personal, individual rehearsal. Available on newer and selected backlist titles only.
