Vicki Tucker Courtney
Vicki Tucker Courtney began classical piano studies at the age of four, a foundation that, combined with extensive choral accompanying experience and studies at North Texas State University, helped launch a multifaceted career in composition and arranging. Her catalog includes works for secular and sacred choirs, solo voice, piano, and handbells.
A significant milestone came in 2011, when she celebrated the publication of her 200th title, following her first octavo release in Alfred Sacred’s 2005 catalog.
Vicki is a member of ACDA and ASCAP and is an annual recipient of the ASCAP Plus Award. She currently composes full-time while also maintaining a private piano studio. Her performing talents remain in constant demand, and she is frequently invited to play for church services and choral concerts.
Vicki makes her home in Simonton, Texas, just outside Houston.
