Praise to the Spirit
Format: Choral Octavo
With a lightly dancing and crisp touch, Hal Hopson’s setting of this Henry Purcell jewel is delightful. Its relatively short length and repetition help make it an “instant” anthem – easily prepared in one or two rehearsals. And yet, the celebrative nature of the text and tune along with Hopson’s touch will resonate. Perfect as a bright call to worship.
