Arranged by Donald Moore

Donald Moore brilliantly interweaves the traditional Shaker tune Simple Gifts with Pachelbel’s beloved Canon in D in this elegant setting that has become a staple of the choral repertoire. Simple yet beautifully effective, the accompaniment may be performed by two pianists or by organ, with an optional C-instrument part included. Available in voicings for singers of all ages, this versatile selection is appropriate throughout the year and especially fitting for harvest, Thanksgiving, and services centered on peace.
