Douglas Wagner combines an original melody with O Come, O Come, Emmanuel and the Ukrainian Bell Carol to create this stunning Advent anthem. Optional handbells weave the familiar strains of the Russian carol over the opening entreaty to the Christ Child, which flows gracefully into the 9th century Latin hymn. Handbell part (2 octaves) is included in the score.
