Kate’s classroom project is to create a family tree…but there’s only one problem: What’s a “family tree?” Fortunately, Kate’s grandmother, younger sister, and friends are on hand to help explore their ancestry. But when Kate’s sister accidentally ruins the genealogy chart she’s created, things come to a screeching halt and hurt feelings abound. Fortunately, however, there’s a happy ending for all as Kate embraces forgiveness and love…while the group touches on the complex topics of adoption and divorce.
