With a lightly dancing and crisp touch, Hal Hopson's setting of this Henry Purcell jewel is delightful. Its relatively short length and repetition help make it an “instant” anthem ‚Äì easily prepared in one or two rehearsals. And yet, the celebrative nature of the text and tune along with Hopson's touch will resonate. Perfect as a bright call to worship.
